Old Town Spring hosts three festivals in the spring and three festivals in the fall.

Springfest, the Wine, Art & Food Festival, Texas-style is a two-day event celebrating the wines and wineries of Texas.  The 10th Annual festival will be held March 8 & 9, 2008.  Visitors are invited to sample the wines offered by Texas wineries while browsing the shops of Old Town Spring.  In addition to the wine booths, Texas artists display and discuss their art.  Go Texan vendors provide an area where participants can taste, sample and purchase foods produced and made in the State of Texas.  For more information, check Events at www.oldtownspringtx.com   

Celebration of Easter is always held on Saturday, the weekend of Palm Sunday.  The merchants of Old Town Spring provide the Easter eggs and the prizes.  Families from the surrounding area are invited to participate in the Easter Egg Hunt.  For more information, check Events at www.oldtownspringtx.com                                         

The 22nd Annual Texas Crawfish & Music Festival will be held the last two weekends of April, 2008.  Entertainment on three stages, carnival rides, children’s area with pony rides, petting zoo and paint mural, great Cajun food and fun for all ages.  For more information, go to www.texascrawfishfestival.com

“Hop Back to the Fifties” is the catch phrase for the 24rd Annual Long Horn Rod Run to be held on September 27 & 28, 2008.  Over 500 custom muscle cars will be on display in Old Town Spring and car buffs of all ages will be on hand to browse and admire.  The owners of the antique cars will compete is various categories for prizes and awards.  Vehicles from all eras will be on display - those from the ‘60s as well as the older classics dating from the early 1900’s.   For more information, check Events at www.oldtownspringtx.com

Pet Fest is celebrating its 3rd Annual festival on October 18 - 19, 2008 which will showcase dogs and cats plus all the little critters like ferrets, hamsters and rabbits.  Rescue groups, service groups, and specialized groups will have booths to educate the public about animals.  Blessing of the Animals, fashion shows, contests, micro-chipping, pet psychic readings, pet photography and demonstrations will be featured during the two-day event.   Event planners are working to include a singles “Yappy Hour” for pets and the people they own.  For more information, go to www.petfestoldtownspring.com

Old Town Spring will celebrate its 28th Annual Home for the Holidays festival beginning November 8, 2008.  Over 150 shops decorated with red bows, thousands of twinkling lights and ropes of garland will welcome visitors to another season of unique gift shopping for Christmas.  Various entertainments are available for the seven-week festival.  Stages are scattered around town to accommodate large choral groups and church choirs while single individuals and small groups stroll around the town playing instruments, singing and thoroughly delighting shoppers.  Of course, the train is always available for a ride through town and Santa is available for photographs.  For more information, check Events at www.oldtownspringtx.com
